Our terms and conditions

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Context (contextfor.me), you agree to these Terms of Service. Context is operated by In Cahoots Group Pty Ltd (ABN 12 687 932 949), Victoria, Australia. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the service.

2. What Context is

Context is a browser-based campaign management tool designed for music and culture marketers. It helps you plan campaigns, manage budgets, track milestones, build briefs, pull data from your marketing platforms, and get AI-powered guidance, all in one place.

Core features include the campaign brief builder, budget tracker with show-level breakdowns, timeline and milestone planner, talent roster, asset link manager, hours and time tracking, campaign updates log, wrap reports, run-home planner, branded PDF exports, and an AI assistant (Ask Context).

Context also offers integrations with Spotify for Artists, Meta Ads, Google (YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Drive, Google Sheets), Eventbrite, and Harvest. Ticketing data from Moshtix, Oztix, and Humanitix is imported by you via CSV or PDF.

3. Account registration and eligibility

Some features require an account. You can sign up using email, magic link, or Google OAuth (all handled via Supabase). You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You're responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure
  • All activity that happens under your account
  • Making sure your account information is accurate

4. Cost and access

Context is currently in private beta. Access is granted at our discretion and there is no charge during the beta. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you before anything is billed, and no payment is ever taken without your consent.

Features may change or be withdrawn while the product is in beta.

5. Acceptable use

We trust our users to be reasonable. Please don't:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful
  • Try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract source code from the platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission
  • Use automated tools to extract data from the service
  • Use the AI assistant to generate harmful, abusive, misleading, or unlawful content

6. AI assistant (Ask Context)

Context includes an AI assistant powered by Claude (Anthropic) with OpenAI embeddings.

  • Your campaign data is not used to train AI models
  • AI responses are generated on demand and not stored permanently
  • Queries are sent to Anthropic and OpenAI only for the purpose of generating responses
  • AI responses are general guidance, not professional advice. Verify important decisions independently
  • You can opt out of AI features by not using them

7. Third-party integrations

When you connect an integration, you authorise Context to access your data on that platform via read-only access. We do not modify, write to, or delete data on your connected accounts. You can disconnect any integration at any time from your account settings.

We're not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services. If Spotify's API goes down, we can't pull your listener data; that's on them, not us.

8. Your data and intellectual property

Your data is yours. Campaign briefs, budgets, project names, dates, notes, everything you put into Context belongs to you. We don't claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. That's it.

9. Our intellectual property

The Context platform, including its source code, compiled code, design, user interface, branding, documentation, algorithms, and data structures, is the exclusive property of In Cahoots Group Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international copyright, trade secret, and intellectual property laws.

10. Restrictions on use

You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or data structures of the platform
  • Copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the platform or any part of it
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content, data, code, or design elements from the platform
  • Use the platform, or knowledge gained from using it, to build a competing product or service, or to assist any third party in doing so
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
  • Sublicence, lease, rent, loan, or transfer the platform to any third party except as expressly permitted
  • Use the platform for benchmarking or competitive analysis

These restrictions survive the termination of your account or these terms.

11. Availability and warranties

Context is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we can't guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free access
  • That the service will meet every specific requirement you have
  • The accuracy of any output, including AI-generated content

We don't currently offer a formal SLA, but we take uptime seriously and fix issues as quickly as we can.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, In Cahoots Group Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Context.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Australian Consumer Law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. You can close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use Context ceases immediately
  • We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period, or sooner on request

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know via email or an in-app notification. Continuing to use Context after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
